Abel Aviation Operations (AAVOPs)

This Privacy Policy describes how Abel Aviation Operations LLC (“Abel Aviation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the AAVOPs application and related services (the “App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

The App is intended for use by authorized individuals associated with our flight operations, including pilots and renters, certified flight instructors (CFIs), and administrative or operational staff. The App is not directed to the general public or to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

2. Information We Collect

We collect account and contact information that you provide when you register for and use the App. This includes:

• Your name

• Email address

• Telephone number

• The user role assigned to your account (for example, pilot, CFI, or staff)

• Account credentials and related authentication information

We collect only the account and contact information necessary to operate the App and administer flight operations. We do not collect payment card information through the App, and we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information beyond what is described above.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create, maintain, and secure your account

• Verify your identity and assigned role within the operation

• Provide, operate, and improve the App and its features

• Coordinate scheduling, instruction, and operational communications among pilots, CFIs, and staff

• Communicate with you about your account, updates, and service-related matters

• Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations

• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on trusted third-party service providers to host the App and deliver its functionality. These providers process information on our behalf and are authorized to use it only to provide services to us. We use:

• Google / Firebase — for application hosting, authentication, database, and related backend infrastructure. Information handled through these services is subject to Google’s privacy practices.

• (flightcircle.com) — for scheduling and flight operations management. Account and operational information may be shared with or accessed through FlightCircle to support these functions, subject to FlightCircle’s privacy practices.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers to understand how they handle information. We are not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the App, including:

• With the third-party service providers identified above, to the extent required to deliver the App’s functionality

• Among authorized users of the operation where reasonably necessary for scheduling, instruction, and coordination (for example, a CFI and a pilot may see information relevant to a shared session)

• When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other valid legal process

• To protect the rights, safety, or property of Abel Aviation, our users, or others

• In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the protections of this Policy

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the App. We may retain certain information after account closure where necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, or recordkeeping obligations, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may review and update your account information within the App or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and our legitimate operational and legal obligations. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and may provide additional notice through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
