Not certain if you're ready to take the plunge into an aviation career? Take a discovery flight with us! You'll get a private tour and glimpse into the daily life of flying an airplane!
What you can expect...
Casual and Fun
Your Instructor Pilot is going to provide you with a welcoming and safe environment to maximize your experience. Whether you're choosing to do this as a one-time thing, or your goal is to one day command an Airbus A320, we'll cater to making your flight the best experience you could possibly have!
Small, Comfortable Aircraft
Our beautiful Cessna 172i is a perfect introduction aircraft to the wonders of flight! You have the option of taking your discovery flight in our 172 (priced at $200) or our Cessna 182RG (priced at $250). Check out OUR FLEET for more details.
Your controls, Captain
During a portion of the flight, so long as you're comfortable, the instructor pilot will allow you to take command of the plane. Your instructor will guide you on how the controls work in a safe manner and demonstrate some basic maneuvers that you would be learning along the path to earning your license.
We'll provide the headset
We'll provide everything you'll NEED to fly (instructor, plane, headset, water, etc.). What you'll WANT to bring is sunscreen, sunglasses, appropriate clothing for the day's temperature (bring a light jacket, too, even on a warmer day), your phone/camera, and a great attitude!
Discover Texas
We plan discovery flights on better weather days so that you can see everything clearly, experience minimal turbulence, and witness the beautiful parts of the Texas landscape.
Approximately 2 hours
Over approximately 2 hours, we'll brief you on the important parts of the aircraft, walk you through the check lists, safety items, and most importantly, go fly! You'll have time to ask questions, take pictures, and simply enjoy your time.
Safe operations
Your instructor pilot is going to do everything to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the flight. They will brief you on all pertinent operations and phases of flight, and show you a step-by-step process of pre-flighting the aircraft to ensure worry-free travel.
